Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix Live Updates: Red Bull’s four-time world champion Max Verstappen will begin the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix on pole, forward of the 2 McLarens, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Charles Leclerc, 4th, outqualified his Ferrari teammate and seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, who begins from the fourth row alongside Racing Bulls’ French rookie Isack Hadjar. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz was demoted three locations for impeding Lewis Hamilton throughout qualifying, which means he’ll now begin from the fifteenth place. Yuki Tsunoda, alternatively, will begin his first dwelling race in a Red Bull simply forward of Sainz in 14th.
