A trainer of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Car Nicobar, misplaced her life on Holi on Tuesday after being swept away by waves at a seaside close to the JNV campus at Arong village.
The deceased has been recognized as Ms. Renuka, who was serving as a trainer at JNV Car Nicobar.
According to sources, 5 lecturers together with the son of the college principal had gone to the seaside through the morning hours. While they had been on the shore, three of them had been out of the blue swept away by robust waves.
Local residents current close by managed to rescue two of the people. However, Ms. Renuka was carried additional into the ocean by highly effective waves and water currents.
She was later extracted from the ocean by an Indian Air Force helicopter and airlifted to the Air Force Station at Car Nicobar. She was subsequently taken to BJR Hospital within the headquarters space, the place docs declared her introduced lifeless on arrival.
