Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been awarded the Sansad Ratna Award – 2023. Mr. Sharma has been awarded the Sansad Ratna Award Consecutively for the second time.
The prestigious award to Mr. Sharma is a results of his cumulative efficiency in questions, personal members’ payments and member’s debate within the Parliament from the start of the seventeenth Lok Sabha until the tip of the Winter Session 2022.
Expressing gratitude to the folks of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Sharma mentioned that he’s extraordinarily lucky to have had the chance to serve the folks.
Mr. Sharma has actively participated in 817 debates, raised 510 questions, and launched 6 personal members payments from the start of the seventeenth Lok Sabha to the tip of Winter Session 2022.
The Sansad Ratna Award is likely one of the highest recognitions given to the Members of the Parliament for his or her excellent work within the Parliament. Dr. John Brittas, Dr. Manoj Kumar Jha, Ms. Fauzia Tahseen Ahmed Khan, Mr. Vishambhar Prasad Nishad, Mr. Chhaya Verma , the 5 MPs out of the 245 Rajya Sabha MPs, together with the 8 MPs out of 543 MPs within the Lok Sabha: Mr. Bidyut Baran Mahato, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Dr. Heena Vijayakumar Gavit, Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Mr. Gopal Chinayya Shetty, Mr. Sudhir Gupta and Dr. Amol Ramsing Kolhe have been honoured with the celebrated award.
Two Standing Committees – The Finance Committee from Lok Sabha and Transport, Tourism & Culture Committee from Rajya Sabha have been additionally honoured with the award.
Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma was introduced with the Sansad Ratna Award by the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, within the presence of the esteemed visitors, together with Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Minister of State, Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Government of India, and Mr. Hansraj G Ahir, Hon’ble Chairman, National Commission for Backward Classes, Government of India.
