Long-time Reds Jordan Henderson is about to tackle a brand new chapter in his soccer profession as he reportedly agreed to hitch fellow Liverpool hero Steven Gerrard in Saudi Arabia.
Football insider Fabrizio Romano revealed that though Liverpool are but to obtain a proposal from Al Ettifaq for Henderson, a verbal settlement between the English participant and the Arabian membership has been reached.
“BREAKING: Jordan Henderson has accepted Al Ettifaq proposal. There’s verbal agreement in principle. Contract agreed,” Romano wrote on Twitter.
“Deal now depends on Liverpool and Al Ettifaq discussing on the fee, no chance to let him leave for free.”
Romano added that supervisor Jurgen Klopp gave Henderson the inexperienced gentle to hitch the Arabian membership, who sealed the signature of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard earlier this month.

Henderson and Gerrard performed collectively for Anfield for 5 years.
According to stories, the deal may greater than double the 33-year-old’s wage within the Premier League. He is about to earn $900,000 every week, a far cry from the $262,000 he makes now.
Klopp makes Henderson’s switch simple
While it hurts to see the person go, after 12 years and being an integral a part of the crew’s success, Klopp has one thing ready.
The crew at present has 9 midfielders, together with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, who had been purchased for £35m and £60m, respectively.
This means Klopp has to let go of a minimum of one, and Henderson seems to be the expendable one, being one of many older gamers within the lineup.
