Realizing he had been deceived, the sufferer filed a report by means of the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal on April 29. The case has now been formally registered below related sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and investigation has been taken up by the Cyber Crime Police Station.
