The alleged killer of Olympic runner Rebecca Cheptegei from Uganda died on Monday from burns sustained throughout his alleged deadly assault towards the Olympian.
The man accused of the homicide is Cheptegei’s former boyfriend, Dickson Ndiema Marangach. Authorities instructed Reuters that the accused died within the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in western Kenya at round 6:30 pm native time (11:30 am EST).
