Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament representing the area, marked a momentous event on Friday, September 15, 2023, by laying the inspiration stone for 3 essential initiatives which were sanctioned beneath the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS). These initiatives are set to supply substantial advantages to most of the people residing within the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The three initiatives initiated by Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma are as follows:
1. Construction of a Small Mini Stadium Gallery at St. Mary School, Bathu Basthi: The first venture includes the development of a small mini stadium gallery on the grounds of St. Mary School, Bathu Basthi. This facility is devoted to fostering sports activities actions for the youth of the area and shall be constructed at an estimated value of Rs. 17,52,918.

Blacktop Road Development in Ward No. 3, Sippighat: The second venture focuses on the advance of infrastructure in Ward No. 3, Sippighat, via the development of a blacktop highway spanning a size of 110 meters. This initiative goals to boost connectivity and accessibility for native residents and comes at an estimated value of Rs. 17,69,381.
3. Construction of RCC Retaining Wall, PCC Retaining Wall, Footpath, Side Drain, and Steps at Brookshabad: The third venture encompasses the development of varied important parts together with an RCC retaining wall, PCC retaining wall, footpath, facet drain, and steps at Brookshabad. This complete growth initiative is anticipated to considerably enhance the native infrastructure at an estimated value of Rs. 20,74,875.
