Vijay Sethupathi on Super Deluxe lacking out on Oscar nod from India
Vijay Sethupathi advised Bollywood Hungama that he was shattered when Super Deluxe was not despatched as India’s entry for Oscars 2019. The movie had received various nationwide and worldwide awards. In Super Deluxe, he performed the function of a transgender lady. He received the National Award for Best Supporting Actor. Vijay stated he was hopeful that India’s jury would think about Super Deluxe for the Oscars choice in 2019.
Heart-breaking second for Super Deluxe group
He revealed it was heart-breaking for the entire group of Super Deluxe. Vijay Sethupathi stated he was shattered however knew it was politics. He was quoted as saying, “We know that something happened. It’s not because I was in that film. Even if I were not in that film, I would’ve wanted that film to go there.” He acknowledged that one thing occurred in between which affected the choice.
