A Mock Drill will probably be performed this night at 6:00 PM as a part of routine Civil Defence preparedness measures geared toward assessing and enhancing emergency response capabilities throughout the area.
According to officers, the first targets of the drill are to check the operational readiness of all licensed sirens and to advertise public consciousness and preparedness for blackout procedures throughout emergencies.
As a part of the drill, a siren will sound at 6:00 PM and proceed for 5 minutes. During this time, residents are suggested to change off all light-emitting electrical home equipment, together with inverters, for a period of 10 minutes. A second siren, lasting one minute, will probably be sounded at 6:10 PM to point the conclusion of the train, following which regular actions could resume.
Authorities have emphasised that the drill is designed to familiarize each emergency response personnel and the general public with the usual protocols to be adopted throughout real-life emergency conditions.
All residents and stakeholders have been urged to cooperate totally and take part actively within the drill to make sure its success.
