Mr. Vinod additionally raised the problem of exorbitant fares for the transportation of stretcher sufferers within the Island-Mainland Sector. He knowledgeable that the current value of transportation for a stretcher affected person ranges from Rs. 1.5 Lakhs to Rs. 2 Lakhs.
He requested the Minister to redress his grievances on precedence for the good thing about the Islanders.
