MP Calls on Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Discusses Expediting Mega Great Nicobar Island Project

Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on fifth December 2022, referred to as on Admiral D Ok Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency. 

The dignitaries mentioned expediting the execution of mega infrastructure initiatives price ₹ 75,000/- Crores in A&N Islands, together with the International Container Transhipment Terminal and new Green Field Airport, consequent to the ultimate clearance accorded by the Government of India.

The identification of extra initiatives for the follow-up section was additionally mentioned. 

The Mega Great Nicobar Island Project is an important challenge for India. Govt. of India is significantly pushing the challenge ahead. The Great Nicobar Project will create lakhs of jobs for the nation and can assist India in reaching the goal of turning into a $5 Trillion Economy. 

The challenge can be essential for National Security and has the potential to show the tide of the geopolitics of the Indian Ocean Region utterly in favour of India.
