Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Secretary of the A&N Administration for promptly addressing the long-standing grievances of Guest Faculties working throughout varied greater schooling establishments within the Islands.
In an announcement, the MP counseled the Administration’s choice to accord first choice to certified current Guest Faculties through the empanelment course of for the educational session 2025–2026. This transfer applies to all government-run schools together with Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Mahatma Gandhi Government College Mayabunder, Tagore Government College of Education, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT), Andaman College (ANCOL), and Andaman Law College.
Mr. Ray, who had actively taken up the matter, appreciated the Administration’s thoughtful method that safeguards the pursuits and livelihoods of Guest Faculties who’ve been constantly contributing to the schooling sector throughout the Islands for a number of years.
“This decision reflects the Administration’s sensitivity towards the dedicated services rendered by these educators and ensures continuity and fairness in the recruitment process,” the MP famous.
