The National Book Week–2025 concluded on twentieth November 2025, with a valedictory and prize distribution ceremony held on the Conference Hall of the State Library. Mr. Vikram Singh, Director (Education), graced the occasion because the chief visitor and inspired college students to make full use of the library’s devoted studying areas designed to nurture creativity and mental progress.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Singh knowledgeable that the Education Department, in collaboration with Shankar IAS Academy, Chennai, is planning to introduce on-line teaching for UPSC aspirants of the Islands—an initiative aimed toward strengthening alternatives for aggressive examination preparation. He later offered prizes to the winners of varied competitions held all through the week. Carmel Senior Secondary School was awarded the particular trophy for the general finest performing college of the 12 months.
The occasion was attended by senior officers of the Directorate of Education, together with Mr. Gyan Sheel Dubey, DDE (HoO/Acad.), and Dr. Dheeraj Kumar, DDE (Perl).
