As a part of the continued Special National Integration Camp (SNIC), National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets undertook an academic and heritage go to to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island and North Bay Island to advertise patriotism, nationwide integration and consciousness of India’s historic and strategic heritage.
The go to was carried out within the presence of Col Ok. Y. Singh, Commanding Officer, NCC Army Unit. During the programme, the cadets had been briefed on the historic significance of Subhash Chandra Bose Island, notably its pivotal position in India’s freedom battle. The briefing highlighted the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and served as a supply of inspiration for the younger cadets.
Later, the cadets visited North Bay Island, the place they participated enthusiastically in varied water sports activities actions. The go to supplied a mix of studying and recreation, strengthening teamwork, self-discipline and camaraderie among the many cadets, in line with the goals of the Special National Integration Camp.
