The District Administration, Nicobar, has launched the Har Ghar Tiranga marketing campaign as a part of the nationwide Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, inspiring residents to show the National Flag at their houses, workplaces, and public buildings. The initiative goals to instill a spirit of patriotism, unity, and satisfaction, whereas honouring the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters.
Government places of work, academic establishments, group organizations, and native residents have actively participated within the marketing campaign, which runs from August 13 to fifteen, 2025. Special programmes have been organised, together with a District-Level Flag Yatra and Bike Rally from Edward Kutchat Park by way of Gandhi Chowk to Priyadarshni Hall, Tamaloo, a ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ occasion at Priyadarshni Hall, and a Signature Campaign on the DC Office in Car Nicobar.
As a part of the celebrations, Tiranga Quizzes and Drawing Competitions shall be held in colleges at Car Nicobar on August 14, whereas the National Flag shall be hoisted at houses throughout the district on August 14 and 15. Awareness drives, rallies, and cultural programmes are additionally being organized to make sure most participation.
