NSKS Organised Protest at PBMC Gate on tenth February; Instruments Down Protest if No Motion inside 15 Days

Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh (NSKS), an affiliated service affiliation of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKM), BMS had referred to as for a protest at PBMC Gate on tenth February 2023.

The protest was organized to press for calls for resembling regularisation of Casual labourers, Grant of 1/thirtieth to all Muster roll workers, Creation of posts after enlargement of the Municipal space from 21 sq km. to 42 sq km. in 2015, Sanction of bonus to all working workers as per the eligibility decided by the Ministry of Finance, Establishment of Sanitary sections with all fundamental facilities resembling Drinking water, bogs, and many others., Timely issuance of brooms, security gears gum boot, and many others., Sanction of 1 month’s wage as honorarium to all sanitary employees who served tirelessly in the course of the COVID pandemic.

The Dharna noticed participation from numerous employees from all wards. Female workers additionally participated in massive numbers. It was determined that if PBMC takes no critical motion on the calls for of NSKS inside 15 days, a brush/instruments down protest might be organized.
