ESPN broadcaster and former Warriors coach Mark Jackson didn’t embody two-time MVP Nikola Jokic from his MVP poll, prompting numerous reactions from followers and friends alike.
Many weren’t happy by this choice, because the MVP voting for the 2022-23 NBA season has been mainly a two-horse race between Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.

Nikola Jokic disregarded of Mark Jackson’s MVP poll
Former NBA participant and fellow ESPN analyst Jay Williams couldn’t consider Jackson’s poll, stating his disbelief in a tweet.

Jackson’s poll included Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Donovan Mitchell. He is the one voter out of a worldwide panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters who didn’t embody the Serbian middle in his voting checklist.
Before Jackson’s poll grew to become public data, TNT analyst Charles Barkley even went so far as calling the voter who didn’t embody Jokic in his checklist “a damn idiot.”
Jackson ultimately apologized for the mishap, saying he voted for one MVP in every place as a substitute of a prime 5 checklist.
Mark Jackson was the ONLY voter out of 100 folks to not Nikola Jokic as an MVP.

He reiterated his apology in a tweet directed to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

Despite his apology, some followers have referred to as for Jackson’s voting rights to be rescinded.
