Shanti Teresa Lakra, a Nurse from Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been introduced as one of many prime ten finalists of the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2023.
More than 50,000 nurses from throughout the globe competed for the coveted award. Each of the finalists has a outstanding trajectory and has made a major contribution to the sphere of nursing.
The winner of the award will obtain US $2,50,000 (INR 2,05,10,212. 50/- in todays Exchange Rate).
The finalists will now face a public voting course of, adopted by a closing analysis by the Grand Jury Judging panel.
Shanti Lakra labored amongst the PVTGs of the Islands and is deeply dedicated to serving the folks. Following the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, which resulted within the Ongees shifting deep within the jungle, Shanti was perseverant and made her residence with them, in an open tent.
