In a transfer to strengthen livestock companies and increase the genetic potential of the bovine inhabitants within the islands, the Department of Animal Husbandry organized a one-day coaching programme on Artificial Insemination (AI) on the Veterinary Hospital, Junglighat.
The coaching aimed to replace the data and refine the sensible expertise of field-level veterinary workers, with a powerful deal with superior AI methods, semen dealing with and storage, reproductive well being administration, and systematic record-keeping. Special emphasis was laid on sustaining hygienic and well timed insemination practices to realize higher conception charges in cattle.
