An orientation session was organized for Block Staff and Self-Help Group (SHG) members on the implementation of the Integrated Farming Cluster (IFC) beneath the Mahila Kisan Shashakti Karan Pariyojna (MKSP). The coaching happened on January 30 and 31, 2025, on the Directorate of Rural Development (RD), Marine Hill.
The IFC challenge goals to advertise key agricultural actions, together with Poultry and Goatry in C.D. Block Prothrapur and Ferrargunj, Fisheries in C.D. Block Rangat and Mayabunder, and Dairy actions in Diglipur. The coaching offered Block workers and SHG members with the required data and steerage to efficiently implement and scale these actions. Support might be offered by hand holding by related line departments to make sure efficient utilization of Government schemes and sources.
This initiative goals to uplift SHG members by enhancing their revenue and empowering them to take energetic roles in agricultural decision-making. It highlights the mixing of assorted farming actions as a pathway to strengthening ladies’s involvement in agriculture and allied sectors, thus enhancing their financial standing.
Ms. Sapna Priya, Director of RD, addressed the gathering and inspired the members to interact with this system with enthusiasm and dedication. She emphasised that the profitable implementation of IFC-MKSP would considerably enhance livelihoods, promote sustainable financial growth, and contribute to monetary inclusion within the area by fostering native capability and entrepreneurship.
Ms. Reshma Singh, SPM-Livelihood at ANIRLM, led the coaching, offering in-depth insights into this system’s construction and its potential affect on rural livelihoods.
The session concluded with a pledge from all attendees to work collaboratively in direction of reaching the targets of this system, making certain higher livelihood alternatives for rural SHG members.
