Digital funds and fintech platform PhonePe on Monday launched a function to pay revenue tax by way of its app.
Individuals and companies will pay self-assessment and advance tax by way of UPI or bank card by way of the appliance, with out logging into the revenue tax portal, PhonePe stated.
The quantity shall be credited to the tax portal inside two working days.
Users will pay taxes by logging into the app and choosing the “income tax” icon. Then, they need to choose the kind of tax to be paid, evaluation 12 months and Permanent Account Number (PAN) particulars.
