The energy state of affairs in Port Blair has worsened over time within the final two years. Adding to the woes, inordinate and frequent energy cuts are being skilled by customers throughout elements of Port Blair metropolis within the final two days.

It is shameful that after the lapse of so many months because the cries started, the Administration and the Electricity Department are unable to rectify the ability state of affairs within the Islands.
An order was handed for demand-side administration of energy, which put restrictions on companies and Govt. Departments on the usage of energy in the course of the peak night hours, however it’s shocking that the division and the administration have been utterly silent on what’s being finished to extend the manufacturing of electrical energy.
The residents are more and more getting irritated because of the lengthy and frequent energy cuts and are demanding that the Administration take rapid steps to normalize energy provide.
