The Block Development Office, CD Block Rangat, carried out a block-level coaching programme on the theme “Fostering Synergies between Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and Rural Youth for Sustainable Community Development” on the Panchayat Samiti Hall, Rangat.
Mr. Sujit Mistry, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Nimbutala, briefed contributors on the construction, powers, and tasks of PRIs, underscoring the necessity for lively Gram Sabha participation to strengthen grassroots governance.
Addressing the contributors, Block Development Officer Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh highlighted the significance of collaboration between elected representatives and younger individuals, stating that such partnerships have been important for constructing inclusive and sustainable communities.
Mr. Mohammed Irfan, Block Programme Manager (RGSA), spoke on the idea of mannequin villages and referred to as for efficient coordination between PRIs and rural youth to drive community-led development.
A technical session was additionally carried out by Ms. Deepa Biswas, Domain Expert (Livelihood), RGSA.
