Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys legend Larry Allen handed away on Sunday on the age of 52 whereas vacationing in Mexico along with his household.
“Larry, known for his great athleticism and incredible strength, was one of the most respected, accomplished offensive linemen to ever play in the NFL,” the Dallas Cowboys group wrote in an announcement.
“His versatility and dependability were also signature parts of his career. Through that, he continued to serve as inspiration for many other players, defining what it meant to be a great teammate, competitor and winner.”
Allen was drafted by the Cowboys in 1994, taking him with the forty sixth total select of Sonoma State.
Throughout his profession, Larry Allen established himself as an elite run-blocker in the course of the Dallas Cowboys dynasty of the Nineties.
He would then spend his closing two years as a member of the San Francisco 49ers.
His dominance on the sphere would assist him earn 11 Pro Bowl picks, six First-Team All-Pro choice nods, and assist the Cowboys win a Super Bowl in 1996.
Allen’s play earned him a spot on the NFL All-Decade staff within the Nineties, together with an induction into the 2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame class and a spot within the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor.

“He was “deeply liked and cared for by his spouse, Janelle — whom he known as his coronary heart and soul — his daughters Jayla and Loriana and son, Larry III,” wrote the Cowboys in an announcement.
“The Jones family and the Cowboys extend their deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Allen family and grieve along with the many other friends and Cowboys teammates that also loved Larry.”
