A 3-day State-level re-orientation coaching programme on the “Management of Metabolic Disorders in the Homoeopathic System of Medicine” concluded on Thursday. The programme was organized by the AYUSH Wing of the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) in collaboration with the Andaman & Nicobar State AYUSH Society (ANSAS) underneath the National AYUSH Mission (NAM), for Medical Officers and Community Health Officers (Homoeo) underneath the Health Department.
The coaching featured knowledgeable classes by eminent professionals within the subject, together with Dr. Pradip Kumar Bairi, former Professor and Head of the Department of Repertory at MBH Medical College and Hospital, former Guest Faculty on the National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, and former Professor at D.N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital. Dr. Sajeev, BHMS, MD (Practice of Medicine), Chief Medical Officer, Department of Homoeopathy, Government of Kerala and District Convenor of the Janani Infertility Project, and Dr. Santi Adhikari, Research Officer In-charge on the Central Research Unit, Sri Vijaya Puram underneath the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Government of India, additionally led technical classes.
Dr. Manabika Dutta, Medical Officer In-charge (Homoeo), AYUSH, DHS, together with taking part trainees, attended the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Subroto Saha, Project Director, ANACS, DHS, lauded the efforts of the AYUSH Wing and emphasised that homoeopathy, as a holistic system of medication, performs a major position in managing metabolic issues, particularly within the context of their rising prevalence throughout the nation.
The programme included interactive parts equivalent to position performs and case-based discussions to reinforce sensible understanding amongst contributors.
