The Science Centre, Sri Vijaya Puram, hosted a State-level Science Project Competition on twenty ninth November 2025, bringing collectively younger innovators from throughout the Islands. Students from Classes 6 to 11 introduced almost 30 working science fashions and initiatives, drawing widespread consideration from academics, college students, and most people.
The occasion aimed to advertise scientific pondering and sensible innovation amongst college college students.
Four individuals had been awarded money prizes and certificates for his or her excellent entries. Sudeepto Das from Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sitanagar, gained the primary prize of ₹5,000 for his venture titled “Automated Milk Spilling Stopper.” The first runner-up, Polimera Lavanya from St. Xavier School, Manarghat, acquired ₹3,000 for her venture, “Sustaining Life Beyond Earth.”
The second runner-up place was secured by Ok.R. Dayanidhi of Vivekananda Nagar Palika Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri, who acquired ₹2,000 for his mannequin “Waste Segregation Automation.” A comfort prize of ₹1,000 was awarded to Bharani Dharan from R.G.T. Public Vidyalaya for the venture “Smart Irrigation.”
The programme was coordinated by Education Officer Mr. Debashis Paul from the Science Centre. Appreciating the participation, he mentioned that such platforms not solely encourage creativity but in addition inspire college students to contemplate future careers in science and know-how.
The exhibition acquired an amazing response and concluded with appreciation for the scholars’ creativity, curiosity, and dedication towards scientific studying.
