The BCCI on Friday announce Team India’s 15-man squad for the upcoming three-match Test sequence towards New Zealand, beginning October 16 in Bengaluru. While Rohit Sharma will proceed to guide the crew, ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah was named his deputy for the three-match rubber. Bumrah’s elevation as vice-captain comes only a day after a report emerged that Rohit may miss one of many first two Tests towards Australia attributable to private causes. The Indian crew will play a five-Test sequence in Australia, beginning November 22 in Perth, and there’s a risk that Rohit may give both the primary or the second recreation in Adelaide (December 6-10) a miss.
