The Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Education), Ms. Chanchal Yadav, IAS, on Wednesday inaugurated a Tent Library at Govt. Demonstration Multi Purpose School (Primary), Middle Point, Sri Vijaya Puram as a part of an initiative to advertise studying habits amongst younger learners.
The Tent Library has been established by the State Library below the Directorate of Education with the target of making a child-friendly studying and studying surroundings on the grassroots degree. The programme was attended by the Director of Education, Mr. Vikram Singh, who was current because the visitor of honour.
During the inauguration, Ms. Yadav interacted with college students, reviewed the services of the Tent Library, and appreciated the initiative for encouraging kids to develop an curiosity in studying in a relaxed and casual setting. She emphasised the significance of nurturing studying habits at an early age to strengthen foundational studying.
Mr. Vikram Singh lauded the efforts of the State Library and highlighted that modern initiatives reminiscent of Tent Libraries play a significant position in strengthening the studying tradition amongst main faculty college students.
The Tent Library gives entry to storybooks and different age-appropriate studying supplies in an open and welcoming surroundings designed to make studying an pleasant expertise for youngsters. The initiative displays the Directorate of Education’s dedication to selling literacy and fostering lifelong studying amongst college students.
