Under his steering, the Timberwolves secured the third seed within the Western Conference and clinched their first playoff collection victory in twenty years.
Finch’s achievements earned him a spot amongst the three finalists for the 2024 NBA Coach of the Year award, alongside Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley, in the end received by Daigneault.
