A four-day Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on ‘Championing Change: Empowering Women Leaders in Local Governance for District-Level Master Trainers’ beneath the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) concluded just lately on the State Panchayat Resource Centre (SPRC), Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, Marine Hill. The programme was held beneath the steering of Mr. Rajesh Chopra, IAS, Secretary (RD/P).
Addressing the valedictory session, Mr. Rajesh Chopra highlighted the essential function of ladies’s management on the grassroots stage and urged the Master Trainers to function catalysts for change by sharing their studying and selling gender-responsive governance of their respective areas. He additionally offered certificates and coaching kits to the contributors.
Speaking on the event, Mr. Apurva Sharma, Director (RD/PRIs), pressured the significance of empowering ladies representatives in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) to foster inclusive and efficient native governance. He counseled the contributors for his or her energetic involvement and dedication all through the coaching.
Earlier, welcoming the dignitaries and contributors, Mr. Bijoy Kumar Das, State Nodal Officer (RGSA), outlined the aims of the programme and emphasised the importance of capacity-building initiatives beneath the RGSA scheme in strengthening the Panchayati Raj system.
