The Department of Fisheries in affiliation with the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Dollygunj and with the Financial Assistance of National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad below the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) has proposed to organise a 3 days coaching programme on ‘Open Sea Cage Culture’ from 2nd March 2023 to 4th March 2023.
The coaching programme consists of classroom lectures and Hands on Training on fabrication of cages, set up, stocking of seeds, feeding, upkeep and subject visits involving 25 chosen contributors from A & N Islands. The candidates can be chosen on first come first serve foundation. The chosen trainees will probably be offered each day allowance and travelling allowance as per the accepted norms of NFDB, Hyderabad.
