Admiral D Okay Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency on sixteenth January 2023, held a gathering with Tribal Captains & Representatives, Public & HoDs at APWD Guest House at Kamorta.
Representatives of the Tribal Council of Kamorta, Tribal Council of Katchal & Tribal Council of Chowra introduced the problems of their respective Islands earlier than the Tribal Council.
Mr. Aslam Majid, First Captain, Tribal Council of Kamorta highlighted the problems associated to water, street, electrical energy, public transportation and many others. earlier than the Lt. Governor.
During the assembly, Hon’ble Lt Governor directed the officers of assorted Departments to make sure early examination & decision of the problems raised.
On completion of his four-day go to to Little Andaman and Kamorta, Hon’ble Lt Governor returned again to Port Blair on sixteenth January.
