Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Committee Member, BJP, on fifth April 2023, met the Secretary, Social Welfare, A & N Administration and raised the next points:-
1. He raised the problem of significant delay in receipt of outdated age pension, Widow Pension, Destitute Allowances and Handicap Allowance. He identified that for a lot of the beneficiaries, the quantity of pension and allowance is the one supply of livelihood and due to this fact even per week’s delay in disbursement of those allowances creates an enormous burden on them. Therefore, he urged to make sure that the advantages reaches the beneficiaries effectively throughout the 1st or 2nd day of each month.
2. Mr. Vishal Jolly additional raised one other essential situation of delay in provide of ration objects to all of the Anganwadi centres, particularly the distantly situated centres. He identified that giant variety of residents from a number of locations have identified this situation and in an effort to preserve the sanctity of social welfarism, speedy steps must be taken to make sure that the ration objects reaches all centres effectively upfront.
Secretary, Social Welfare, A & N Administration positively thought of all the problems raised by Mr. Jolly and agreed to take optimistic and needful steps on this regard on the earliest.
