The Golden State Warriors are set to lose Klay Thompson in free company, one of many cores of their dynasty that resulted in 4 NBA championships in seven years.
However, the breakup was hardly a shock, because it culminated pressure brewing for years regardless of their success.
Team insider Jason Dumas of KRON4 News talked about on the 95.7 The Game podcast that Thompson’s erratic conduct has been on par with Draymond Green’s publicly seen outbursts. However, the sharpshooter’s actions weren’t as vocal.
“In the last three years, I know Draymond has punched people and got himself suspended on the court. I’m telling you this. Klay has been equally exhausting behind the scenes,” he mentioned.
“It’s not as loud because it’s not you stomping on someone’s chest. If he’s slamming stuff on the bench and sulking, and doing that on the court, how do you think it is in practice? How do you think it is in the locker room? It has been uncomfortable. It has. It just doesn’t come out as loudly as Draymond Green,” Dumas added.
One main motive Draymond Green remains to be with the Warriors
Dumas added the important motive why Draymond Green stays a member of the Warriors regardless of his controversies.
Stephen Curry has strongly endorsed the fiery ahead to remain, citing their complementary taking part in types.
The Warriors have had quite a few causes to ponder buying and selling Green, together with a number of incidents resembling on-court altercations and punching former teammate Jordan Poole.
