A one-day workshop on the theme “Judicious Use of Chemical and Organic Agriculture Inputs” was organized on the Community Hall in Chouldari on June 11, 2025, with the target of sensitizing farmers in regards to the balanced use of fertilizers for the sustainable improvement of agriculture and the island ecosystem.
The Secretary (Agriculture), A&N Administration, who graced the event because the chief visitor, emphasised the pressing want to scale back the indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and promote sustainable agricultural practices appropriate for island situations.
