WWE introduced the passing of Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, often known as The Iron Sheik, on Wednesday on the age of 81.

No motive was given for the dying of the Iranian-born wrestler. He achieved fame within the Nineteen Eighties as a villainous wrestler who confronted off in opposition to Hulk Hogan.
The Iron Sheik briefly held the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in 1983. He famously dropped the title to Hulk Hogan in January 1984 on the Madison Square Garden, who would go on and maintain the title for greater than 4 years.

The Iron Sheik: An American Dream
The Iron Sheik was born in Damghan, Iran, in 1942 to a working-class household with little cash and no operating water. In his youth, he idolized Iranian wrestler Gholamreza Takhti and determined to turn out to be a wrestler.
However, after Takhti was mysteriously discovered lifeless in his lodge room in 1968, The Iron Sheik determined to maneuver to the United States, fearing for his security.
