The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) celebrated the three hundredth start anniversary of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar with nice enthusiasm at Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Sri Vijaya Puram. The occasion witnessed the presence of outstanding dignitaries and energetic participation from round 300 college students.
The program started with a heat welcome by Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha, Vice President of Dakshin Bengal Prant, ABVP, who greeted the company and attendees. The event was graced by Mr. Govind Chandra Nayak, National Joint Organizing Secretary of ABVP, who delivered the keynote handle and served because the Guest of Honour.
In his speech, Mr. Govind Chandra Nayak highlighted the exceptional life and contributions of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. He praised her distinctive management, dedication to public welfare, and dedication to social and cultural growth, portraying her as a timeless inspiration for ladies throughout generations.
Chief Guest Dr. R.V.R. Murthy additionally shared insights on the importance of the day, reflecting on Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar’s enduring influence on Indian society. Dr. Ratan Mazumdar, Associate Professor of Geography, elaborated on her life and deeds, providing a historic perspective on her legacy.
The occasion was additional enriched by the presence of a number of notable dignitaries, together with Dr. Kandimuthu, Vibhag Pramukh, ABVP, ANI; Mr. Tejinder Singh, President of ABVP, Sri Vijaya Puram; and Ms.. Esther Samuel, Lecturer within the Department of Political Science.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Satyajit Halder, Secretary of ABVP, who expressed gratitude to the company, organizers, and members for his or her contributions in making the occasion successful.
