The President of the Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), Mr. Rangalal Halder, has urged the Electricity Department of the A&N Islands to take speedy steps to handle the persistent load shedding disaster affecting massive components of the territory, notably the South Andaman area.
In a proper letter addressed to the Superintending Engineer of the Electricity Department, Mr. Halder expressed deep concern over the extended each day energy outages—lasting as much as 6 to 7 hours—which have severely disrupted the lives of residents.
