PARAKH, NCERT, New Delhi, in collaboration with the State Institute of Education (SIE), A&N Islands, has launched a three-day workshop at Shiksha Sadan, working from September 10 to 12. The program focuses on the implementation of the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) and the dissemination of PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024-2025 outcomes throughout all academic zones, as a part of NCERT’s nationwide PARAKH initiative.
The workshop was inaugurated by Ms. Sangeeta Chand, Principal of SIE, who highlighted the imaginative and prescient and targets of the PARAKH initiative. In her keynote deal with by way of video conferencing, Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, CEO and Head of PARAKH underneath NCERT, emphasised the initiative’s pivotal position in aligning India’s training system with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. She outlined PARAKH’s core capabilities, together with setting nationwide requirements for pupil assessments, making certain equivalence throughout college boards, and selling evaluation strategies past rote memorisation.
Sessions are being performed by Ms. Madurima Pal and Ms. Charul Yadav, NCERT college members with experience in academic evaluation and progress card design. The initiative goals to strengthen trainer capability and institutional readiness for NEP-aligned evaluation reforms. Participants are anticipated to disseminate the information gained to their respective colleges and undertake follow-up actions to assist the adoption of the Holistic Progress Card and associated PARAKH initiatives.
