The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), in collaboration with the Unorganised Workers and Employees Congress (UWEC), A&N Islands, organised a ‘Vote Chori’ Signature Campaign close to the ITF Ground parking space, calling for collective motion towards vote manipulation.
The initiative was led by Mr. Tejeswara Rao, Chairman, UWEC, A&N Islands, underneath the general steerage of Mr. Rangalal Halder, President, ANTCC, and Mr. T.S.G. Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee, ANTCC.
The marketing campaign noticed enthusiastic participation from native cab and taxi drivers, who signed the pledge affirming their dedication to guard the integrity of the democratic course of.
Among these current have been Mr. John Robert, District President (South Andaman), together with a number of workplace bearers of UWEC, leaders of assorted frontal organisations, and Congress members, all expressing solidarity with the trigger.
The organisers stated the marketing campaign goals to boost consciousness amongst voters about safeguarding their proper to vote and making certain truthful electoral practices throughout the Islands.
