The Clinical Research Unit (Homoeopathy), Sri Vijaya Puram, underneath the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, organized a one-day scientific occasion on the ‘National Homoeopathic Pharmacovigilance Programme 2025’ on October 27.
The occasion, themed ‘From Awareness to Action – One Click Secures Your Safety,’ highlighted the rising significance of strengthening pharmacovigilance practices inside the AYUSH system. It aimed to boost consciousness amongst homoeopathic practitioners throughout the islands, offering them with the most recent updates and hands-on coaching on reporting mechanisms via the AYUSH Suraksha Portal.
Dr. Kalyan P. Kadhbane, Deputy Director (AYUSH) and Coordinator for PV-Ayu. Drugs, graced the event because the Chief Guest, whereas Dr. Saroj Kumar Debnath, Research Officer (Ayu.), Scientist-4, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Sri Vijaya Puram, attended because the Guest of Honour.
Earlier, Dr. Santi Adhikary, Research Officer (H), Scientist-1, and Officer In-Charge, welcomed the gathering and outlined the targets of the programme.
The scientific classes featured participating deliberations by eminent audio system, together with Dr. Swapan Paul, Associate Professor and Coordinator, National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Kolkata; Dr. Suniti Chugh, Research Officer (Homoeopathy), CCRH Headquarters, New Delhi; and Dr. Namita Gopal, Junior Research Fellow (H), Pharmacovigilance Programme, Sri Vijaya Puram.
A pilot Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) survey was additionally carried out among the many offline individuals to evaluate consciousness ranges concerning pharmacovigilance.
The occasion witnessed energetic participation from 56 medical officers and personal practitioners, each on-line and offline, and concluded with a vote of thanks adopted by the distribution of participation certificates.
