The Directorate of Education & Sports, in collaboration with the Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj, and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), is ready to host the ‘North Bay Road Marathon 5.0 (Khel Ka Nasha)’ together with a Cycle Rally on November 23. The occasion will start at 6 AM and observe the scenic route from Chunnabatta (Ram Mandir) to North Bay and again, providing members a refreshing athletic expertise amidst the pure fantastic thing about the area.
The marathon is open to all Islanders and college college students from the Wimberlygunj Educational Zone, with no entry price. It will function 4 classes: a ten km run for males (Islanders solely) and college boys, and a 5 km run for girls (Islanders solely) and college women. Cash prizes might be awarded to the winners throughout all classes, encouraging broader participation and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship among the many youth and the area people.
In addition to the run, a Cycle Rally will even be organized as a part of the occasion. Participants are required to deliver their very own bicycles. The Sports Authority of India will distribute T-shirts to all members as a gesture of encouragement. Registration for each the marathon and the cycle rally will happen on the venue from 5 AM onwards.
