The Directorate of Industries lately carried out an consciousness programme on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013, at its Conference Hall for workers from the Industries Department, District Industries Centre (DIC) and the Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB).
Mr. Atul Soni, Director of Industries, attended the session and inspired all officers and workers to familiarize themselves with the provisions of the Act to make sure a protected, respectful and harassment-free work tradition, particularly for girls workers.
The session was led by Ms. Rubina Khatib Siddiqui, POSH Trainer and Consultant, who supplied an in-depth and interactive presentation on the targets, procedures and obligations outlined beneath the Act. She highlighted the importance of sensitivity, consciousness and accountability at each stage inside a company to stop incidents of sexual harassment.
