Police Station Rangat has arrested the primary accused in reference to an try and homicide case reported from Janakpur-2, Rangat.
According to the police, the incident occurred at round 8 pm on July 23, 2026, following a dispute between two individuals identified to one another.
As per the criticism, Nikhil Sarkar, a personal carpenter residing at Hawamahal, Rangat, was allegedly assaulted with a hammer by Rajat Biswas after a dispute over work-related points. During the incident, the accused was allegedly assisted by his spouse. The sufferer sustained grievous accidents to his head, ear, chest and hand.
Based on the sufferer’s criticism, a case was registered at Police Station Rangat below the related provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Police said {that a} immediate investigation was launched instantly after the case was registered. During the course of the investigation, proof was collected and the primary accused, Rajat Biswas, was arrested. Necessary authorized motion has additionally been initiated towards the co-accused in accordance with legislation.
