A distressed Norwegian Flag Yacht lately known as on Campbell Bay Port whereas its engine developed some issues. According to sources, the yacht was on its approach from Phuket in Thailand to Sri Lanka.
In December 2022, Nicobar Times reported a couple of USA-flagged distressed yacht that was towed to Campbell Bay Port by Indian Coast Guard after it was present in misery close to the Island.

A yacht marina at Great Nicobar and even offering simple permission and clearances to yachts to name on Campbell Bay Port for replenishment will go a great distance in growing the revenue of the native residents.
