Under the Inclusive Education element of Samagra Shiksha, the Block Project Office (SS), Nancowrie Block, carried out a two-day Identification and Assessment Camp for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) on August 12 and 13, 2026.
The first camp was held on August 12 at Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Kapanga, Katchal, protecting the areas below CRC Kapanga, CRC Bengali and CRC Teressa. The second camp was carried out on August 13 at Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSS), Kamorta, protecting CRC Goal Tikry and CRC Champin.
The camp was carried out with the help of a multidisciplinary workforce comprising medical doctors and rehabilitation professionals, together with two rehabilitation professionals from ALIMCO, Sri Vijaya Puram — Sabbir Rahaman Biswas and Naveen Anand. V. Bindu, Principal, GSSS Champin, attended the programme because the Internal Observer.
