On the event of Independence Day, the TSG Charitable Foundation distributed fruit kits and candy bins among the many inmates of the Old Age and Disabled Persons Home at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Diglipur.
The programme was organised beneath the route of Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, TSG Charitable Foundation, as a part of the Foundation’s efforts to advertise care, compassion and happiness amongst susceptible sections of society.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. Ameer Bax, Programme Coordinator, A&N Islands, and Mr. P. Suresh, Coordinator, Diglipur Zone, together with Mr. Asit Bain, Social Worker; Mr. Ramchandran, former Pradhan; Mr. Anil Das, Social Worker; Mr. Ashok, Social Worker; and others.
The initiative introduced moments of pleasure and togetherness to the aged and differently-abled inmates and marked the celebration of Independence Day by way of an act of neighborhood service and care.
