Akshay Kumar shared an previous photograph of himself with Madhumati on the social media platform X and wrote, “My first and forever guru. Everything I know about dance, I learnt at your feet, Madhumati ji. Har ada, har expression mein aapki yaad hamesha saath rahegi. Om Shanti.” The photograph exhibits Akshay Kumar in his early profession, when he discovered dance from Madhumati’s dance academy in Mumbai. Who was Madhumati?
Madhumati was born in 1938 in a small village in Maharashtra. At the age of 19, she was married with Deepak Manohar. Her mom wished her to marry Deepak as a result of she admired him. Deepak Manohar was a widower with 4 youngsters from his first spouse. He handed away in 2002, leaving Madhumati to reside alone.
Madhumati started her profession in 1957 with an unreleased Marathi movie. She was a skilled classical dancer and proficient in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Manipuri, and Kathakali.
