The State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Mr. Anil Tiwari, visited Shaheed Dweep on July 11, 2025, in a big outreach effort geared toward strengthening grassroots connections. He was accompanied by the South Andaman District BJP President, Mr. Mohan Halder, and senior social gathering chief Mr. Selva Kumar.
