Diglipur, Apr 13: Charak Puja celebrated at Sitanagar Diglipur in the present day. It is a particular folks competition, celebrated on the final day of Chaitra month within the Bengali calendar, for bidding goodbye to the passing 12 months.
It is believed that the celebration results in prosperity within the coming 12 months, wiping out all of the sufferings and pains of the present 12 months. Lot of devotees gathered in the present day night at Sitanagar to supply prayers to the deity.
A trunk of the divine ritualistic Charak tree pole is rigorously and religiously erected. It has horizontal poles hooked up on the high from which saints hosted up and swing as they’re rotated across the tree.
